Section C: Release Forms

By signing my name below, my child(ren) have permission to participate in the religious school of Mount Freedom Jewish Center (MTFJC). In consideration of my child(ren)'s acceptance as a religious school student, I hereby waive any and all claims against MTFJC, its agents and its employees that may arise out of any injury, loss or damage suffered by my child(ren) during any religious school activity. I hereby authorize the Director of Youth Education & Programming, or person designated by the Director of Youth Education & Programming, to obtain emergency medical care for my child(ren) in the event such care is indicated. I give my permission for my child(ren) to receive emergency medical care by any nurse, doctor, paramedic or member of a medical staff of a hospital licensed by the State of New Jersey. I understand that every effort will be made to notify a parent/guardian prior to treatment.

I certify that my child(ren) is(are) in good physical health. They have my permission to participate in all activities that are part of the regular religious school program. Field trips may be arranged by Mount Freedom Jewish Center, and transportation may include bus or vehicle driven by a classmate's parent or guardian.

Learning Commitment

At MTFJC we are committed to Lifelong Jewish learning and aim to provide all students this foundation in childhood. In order to become Bat/Bar Mitzvah at MTFJC, we expect that students in all grades will attend a meaningful Jewish educational program in order to achieve this goal. Hebrew School Tuition 2024-2025

Grades 1, 2 and 3 $600 tuition for MTFJC Members $750 tuition if non-member	Grades 4-5 $650 tuition for MTFJC Members $950 tuition if non-member
Grades 6-up ** $700 tuition for MTFJC Members $1,100 tuition if non-member

**Bar / Bat Mitzvah Training Fees - Please speak with Vicki, office@mtfjc.org or call (973) 895-2100.

In addition, each family will be charged a $200 Security Fee to help cover the cost of our security guard who will be present for all class days. Fees for books and other items may also apply.

The full Hebrew School Tuition and Security Fee is due by September 1, 2024

DISCOUNTS for MTFJC Members:

Hebrew School Tuition for each additional child per family will be discounted 25% off the lower grade child(children's) tuition.

Attendance Information

Our Hebrew School meets on Tuesdays from 4:30 until 6:00 PM
We follow the Randolph School Calendar for Holidays and days off.
In the event of bad weather, we close if Randolph Schools / After School Activities are cancelled.
If you know that your child will be absent, please contact the synagogue in advance.
If sports or extra-curricular activities regularly conflict with Hebrew School, please be sure to make arrangements with the Rabbi and teaching staff.
