Membership
Membership Overview
Becoming a member of the Mt. Freedom Jewish Center brings the opportunity to join a community that is committed to meaningful worship, learning, belonging, growth and mutual support. Whether you are in the area for a few years or desire to settle here on a permanent basis, we want you to feel welcome. Other than the High Holidays, services are free and are open to all, and you always have an open invitation to join us for kiddush following Shabbat services. We are proud to be a Congregation comprised of deeply engaged young adults, couples, individuals, seniors and families with children of all ages. We have several categories of membership, and you are invited to choose the status of membership you wish based on your financial resources. Nobody will be turned away based on ability to pay. For information on assisting you with respect to your dues or other synagogue obligations, please contact the Rabbi. Any such inquiries are held in the strictest of confidence.

Additional Opportunities to Support the Shul
As is true of many religious institutions, membership dues cover only a fraction of the cost of our operations. We will be happy to discuss additional giving opportunities throughout the year, as well as special donations available in honor of, in memory of or for any special occasion. Your continued support of the Mt. Freedom Jewish Center ensures that this Congregation's unbroken link for over 100 years to the greater Morris County community continues for generations to come.
